While Jenny and I were visiting the Melbourne office of Campus Crusade earlier this year I met up with Eric Skattebo. Eric is a presenter with Family Life Australia a radio ministry team similar to Focus on the Family that now broadcast programs on 96.5 Family Radio FM in Brisbane and the Vision Radio Network of over 350 stations around Australia. Eric was keen to get some IT help in setting up their iTunes podcasting service so that listeners could download and listen to their broadcasts via the Internet. So … it was rather exciting when Eric email me recently to report that they recently recorded 1,630 podcast listeners in one week who had downloaded their program. This is a great example of how the Internet can unlock doors in ministry.
